Back in the 70s and 80s the American Bowling Congress gave out gold 300 rings with, in this case, a diamond in the middle. Over the years as the number of 300 games exploded, they didn’t make them as nice as they one were. I’m not sure what they do today, but over the years the awards became less valuable.
