Not sure where to start here. The pictures in the slideshow below were taken starting May 9, 2025 until around June. There is no last picture because there is nothing there but an empty lot.

As this project got off the ground and the more people it reached – we kept hearing the same words – “so sad.” Sometimes history isn’t pleasant, and this would be one of those times. For many, it may look like an old ugly now closed building on the edge of town. For countless others, it was far from that. It was a part of their life – for many years – including memories they will never forget. It wasn’t only about their first 200 game, or winning the league on Monday night, it was about the fun they had, the people they met, and the camaraderie that came along with it.

RIP Gay Lanes. Thank you Stan, Ida Mae, Jeff, Don, and all those who made the place what it was over the years.
